A new poll feature for teachers, and some more user-friendly options to the existing features, have just been added to WizIQ Virtual Classroom. The new poll feature allows a teacher to create poll questions in a live class, which will get instant feedback from students. The results of the poll will be displayed graphically. The new poll feature can not only be used as a feedback tool, but can be leveraged as a marketing/survey tool. Below are some of the ways the poll feature can be used:
The poll feature can be used to get instant feedback about the class/course/teaching style/methodology, etc., from students in a live class, which can help teachers refine their teaching.
It can be used to assess students’ preparation levels for any upcoming exams and train them accordingly.
Poll feature as a test
It can be used as an objective type test (no scores available), in live sessions.
Poll feature as a survey
The feature can be used as a marketing tool to conduct a survey, which would help a teacher compare results and improve.
Below are some snapshots from the Poll feature in the Virtual Classroom:
More user-friendly options for the chat box, content library, and content in the virtual classroom
You will now be able to resize the chat box, and add background colors to the chat text. Also, every text message in the chat window is assigned with the current system time.

The content library now has a search tool that allows you to find a particular file from the library with ease. Also, a PDF, document, or spreadsheet can be zoomed in/out, or can be adjusted to fit the size of the screen.
