Academic teachers i.e. teachers from high schools, colleges and universities who are not Premium members on WiZiQ can now avail the benefit of unlimited recordings for free! All academic teachers can avail this opportunity by confirming their affiliation with their academic organizations.

What is Academic membership and what are the benefits?

Academic membership is a limited period offer at WiZiQ for in-service professors and teachers at academic institutions. Academic members have access to the same features as free members but they can also retain class recordings. Your students can greatly benefit from the recordings, as they can revise them at their own pace. This feature will give your students an advantage of asynchronous learning if they missed your online class lectures.

How to avail Academic membership

To avail this offer, please follow the steps below:

1. Register with your official email e.g., @example.edu. You can also change your current email on WiZiQ to an official one. Click here to change your current email.
2. Verify your WiZiQ account from your official email inbox 
3. Ensure that at least 60% of your profile is complete
4. Claim your Academic membership by sending us an email at support@wiziq.com. Please include your profile URL for quick processing.

Once you complete the above process, Academic membership will be activated for you. We will intimate you via email as soon we upgrade your membership.

Academic membership is available till the 31st of October

Yes, this opportunity is open only for a limited period and we will stop accepting applications after the 31st of October, 2010. If you are an academic teacher, you can get started right away. Register for a new account or change your email id to an official one if you are already a member.

If you are using your official email id for the account, you are already eligible. If not, you would just need to switch to the official one (.edu) to become eligible.

I am an academic teacher and want to keep my email address as is because it is my professional email address but would like to get in on the unlimited recordings for teachers. I have tried doing everything suggested but can't seem to get the free unlimited recordings.
