Now LearnerConnect credits can be bought by non-Premium teachers too
Connecting to your learners is now easier than before on WiZiQ. LearnerConnect is now available to non-Premium members too! You can quickly connect to verified, serious learners by using LearnerConnect Credits. This means that you can continue with your courses without worrying about getting your membership upgraded - you will still get learners.
Before walking you through how to use this feature, we would first like to thank all teachers who provided their feedback and enabled us to improve this feature, which is now available to all members.
How the improved LearnerConnect works with your Courses
LearnerConnect has been enhanced for use with WiZiQ Courses. The way it works is pretty simple:
Course pages will now have one or more out of 3 options as shown in the table below.

a) When a learner clicks on one of the options, a dialog box opens up asking the learner to allow the teacher to contact him/her.
b) On acceptance, an email about the learner will be sent to the teacher.
c) As a teacher, you can choose to accept or decline the contact request.
d) Once accepted, the learner becomes your contact.
Here’s how you can find potential learners by using the enhanced LearnerConnect feature with your Courses:
1. Click on the ‘My Network’ tab on the top from your dashboard/profile page and choose ‘Potential Learners’ from the drop down list.
2. Click on the ‘Learners from Courses’ link under the ‘Potential Learners’ category
3) Click on the ‘Accept Request’ in the right pane
How it works
It is implied that these contacts are your potential learners, as they might have - searched for the course there are interested in, found your course page, read the brief about your course, and tried: enrolling in your course, seeing your contact details, or requesting for a free demo choosing one of the three options on your course page.
To make these students your potential/regular learners, you can send a compelling message and tell them about your services, upcoming courses/classes, provide your contact details or whatever you wish to convey to best satisfy their learning needs.
That’s not all! There’s another great way to get more students!
Learning Requests are for all teachers now!
Earlier, this feature too was open only to Premium members, but now WiZiQ has made it available to non-Premium members as well. To avail this benefit, you just need to get LearnerConnect credits. WiZiQ ensures that all learning requests are verified and genuine.
Here’s how you can find the learning requests posted by serious learners:
1) Click on the ‘Teach’ tab on the top of your dashboard/profile page and select ‘Browse Learner Requests’ from the drop down list
2) You can search for learning requests by typing the subject/topic name in the search box on the left pane, or you can browse through the list of learning requests below the section, ‘Latest Learning Requests’ and click on ‘Contact Learner’ to connect to the learner who posted the Learning Request for the subject you teach.
On clicking the ‘Contact Learner’ button, a message box opens up from where you can message a prospective learner and inform about your services, offers, upcoming courses/classes. You can also provide your contact details or whatever you wish to convey to best satisfy their learning needs.
Once contacts get added to your list you can send them invitations for your classes, courses, tests, or tutorials.
We are sure that the enhanced LearnerConnect and Learning Requests features will help both students and teachers reach out to each other and improve the quality of learning, and encourage more learning on WiZiQ.
