The "Follow" widget was provided a few weeks back. We thought that it would be a good idea to inform teachers about this widget on the blog as a high level of interest has been shown by teachers for this widget.
Using the follow widget, You can show visitors on your own website who all are following you on WiZiQ. This widget will have a small picture of yours, pictures of a few of your followers and a click-able link that brings visitors to your WiZiQ profile page. The benefit of having this widget on your website/blog is that you may get more followers and leads for your teaching on WiZiQ. This widget can help you promote your WiZiQ profile on your website/blog by using the Follow feature on WiZiQ. Your widget will get instantly updated whenever a new person starts following you.
Besides the ‘Follow’ widget, there are multiple buttons with a variety of designs and colors available in WiZiQ’s follow widget repository, from where you can chose the one that you like, or the one that goes well with the color and shades of your blog/website.
Adding the Follow widget or button to your website or blog is simple: a) just click here to open the Follow button options b) select the button or widget that you like c) and embed the code in your website/blog.
Here is an example of a live Widget for Shivani's profile.
Note: Currently the Follow widget is not supported with wordpress.com websites/blogs. We will soon come up with a solution and update you when we are done.
