Now Students can Connect with Teachers too Using LearnerConnect

It’s a delight to see many teachers and learners benefiting from the new LearnerConnect feature that has been released recently. To keep this momentum going, we have further enhanced this feature with an objective to make 1) teachers connect with students, 2) teachers connect with other teachers & experts on WiZiQ, and 3) students connect with teachers.

Besides the previously available features in LearnerConnect, you can now:

• View the activity between you and presenters in past classes
• View the profiles and contact details of those teachers whose tests you attempted or Classes you attended
• View the number of tests and classes you attempted and attended respectively
• Connect with teachers. Students can now connect with teachers and teachers can connect with other teachers
• Send messages to teachers
• Quickly find a relevant teacher

You can now view the past classes you attended or tests attempted by you along with the contact details of the teachers who conducted those classes or created the tests. The screenshots below show the Suggested Teachers feature, an extention of LearnerConnect.

• Choose the Suggested Teachers option from the "Learn" drop-down menu

• You can see the number of teachers whose classes or tests you have shown interest in

• Connect with teachers by clicking on the 'Add as Contact' link
• Send messages to teachers by clicking on the 'Send Message' link
• View complete profiles of teachers

Now Get More Students to Teach Using LearnerConnect on WiZiQ

We just released LearnerConnect, a great new way for Premium teachers on WiZiQ to connect with students who have either taken a Public Class or a Public test.

If you are already a Premium teacher, it is easy to understand the use of LearnerConnect. Simply log in to your WiZiQ dashboard and choose "LearnerConnect" from the drop-down options next to the "Teach" tab.

If you have been an active teacher, you will instantly find a lot to explore. It's like finding something lost. You can instantly see all students who took your tests or attended your classes with an option of adding them as contacts.

Here's a useful tip: If you view the profile of a member who took your test or class, you will see a new addition, "Activities between you and [member]"

The best way to understand this feature is to go ahead and explore. We believe that this new addition to the Premium service will help you find and connect with more students to teach. We will be adding more functionality to LearnerConnect to make it easier for you to see specific activity on your learning objects. We will also be extending this feature to your public tutorials soon.
