Upload and Share Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Audio and Video Files using WiZiQ Content

If you have noticed the WiZiQ content uploading over the last weekend, you would have noticed support for more file formats. We now support the following file formats:

1. Presentations : ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx
2. Documents : pdf, doc, docx
3. Spreadsheets : xls, xlsx
4. Video : wav, wms, flv, mov, avi, mpeg, wmv
5. Audio : mp3
6. Flash : swf

File Size Limit :

1. Documents, Presentations, Spreadsheets : Less than 20 MB
2. Audio,Video of Flash File : Less than 50 MB
3. pdf Documents should be less than 100 pages

Currently, you would not be able to see files which are not presentations as a unique content item with a specific URL [like Organic Chemistry Presentation]. We plan to bring this very soon too. All the above formats however, can be used in the Virtual Classroom. Uploading the content [document, presentation, spreadsheets, video, audio or flash files] before hand allows time for the file to process and be available for the Virtual Classroom.
