One of the most common query at our support desk is, "Which browsers does WiZiQ support?" WiZiQ is fully supported and functional on the following browsers [provided you have the latest version of Flash installed]:
- Internet Explorer 6.0/ 7.0
- Firefox 2.x/ 3.x
We currently do the testing of WiZiQ on Windows XP/2000 and Vista platforms only. However, we have several users who are using WiZiQ successfully with Firefox on MAC OS X [and higher]. We do not currently support Google's Chrome browser, but plan to very soon. At present, we cannot give you an exact date or a spot on the development stages timeline for the same, but this is something we are actively considering. We also do not support Linux Operating Systems.
It would not be possible for our support team to suggest workarounds or best practices for using WiZiQ on operating systems and browsers that we do not support. However, a majority [more than 90 percent] of WiZiQ users only use either of the above supported browsers. We also request you to mention the browser/ operating system you are using when writing a support query to us. This will help us resolve issues faster.
