WiZiQ has released plenty of features to help teachers expand their reach online as well as eTeach better. We announced a private beta release of the Virtual Class Embeds for Public Sessions, Get your Class Ready Before it Starts, Block Attendee Functionality for Teachers and Disable Chat. Now, we announce the public beta release of Virtual Class Embeds.
All teachers [those who avail our free membership or premium membership], can now embed their classes [public or private] on their blog or website. All they need to do is copy the embed code available right now from the session detail page [Click on the session title under "My Sessions and Recordings" menu under the "Sessions" tab]. Please note, the recordings do not currently play in the embed player, and users would be directed to the WiZiQ website to watch recordings.
How does this help you as a teacher?
- You can embed your demo/free classes [one which anyone can join] on your blog or website. This helps you not only create multi-media content but also allow your site or blog visitors to attend your class live from within your website or blog itself.
- If you are embedding a private session that you only want your contacts to access, you can put it on a private or password protected page of your website. This way, only people whom you allow can attend your session from your website.
Please note : Attendees either need to be registered members of WiZiQ or they need to create an account with us. This is to ensure that your account has details of studetns/attendees and we can maintain security for your sessions.
You can go ahead and get the Virtual Class Embed codes and use them on your website or blog now. Here is a graphical illustration of how to go about the same:
